Red Quasar, an Audiovisual EP by Boris Chimp 504.
This audiovisual EP, including 4 audiovisual tracks, is a spin-off from the recent AV Live Performance “Vanishing Quasars”. The purchase of the digital album includes the download of the 4 audiovisual video files (you’ll find a .txt file with instructions in the album folder).
Since 2010 Boris Chimp 504 have been presenting audiovisual performances and interactive installations, always focusing on live unrepeatable presentations, due to the mutating performance itself and the changing audience between each venue. While preparing Vanishing Quasars AV Live Performance (premiered 2019), experiments on time signatures 5/2, 7/4, 11/8 & 13/16 and exploring the visualisation of orbital paths and polar coordinates, became the starting point for Red Quasar EP.
